Simon Jordan is a serial entrepreneur and made his fortunes in the mobile phone industry, building his company from scratch. He sold The Pocket Phone Shop in 2000 for £75 million, aged 32.

In the same year, he bought Crystal Palace FC, becoming the youngest ever owner of a Football League club – the club his father played for and the team he had supported as a child.
