Asha Philip became the first British woman to achieve a global 100m title winning Gold at the 2007 IAAF World Youth Championships when she was just 16. A double national record holder both indoor and outdoor she won both titles in 2013, and successfully defended them in 2014.

More About Asha

2014 was a stand-out year for this young East London sprinter. At the Commonwealth Games, she ran the starting leg for the 4x100m relay team winning a bronze medal.

After this success Asha moved on to the European Championships, running the lead leg in the 4x100m team that not only won Gold but also broke the 34-year old British record in a time of 42.25. Just 11 days later Asha led the relay team off at the Zurich Diamond League event...
