Andrew is one of the most familiar voices in British sports broadcasting, establishing himself as a commentator of the highest quality across a number of sports.

Originally from Troon in south-west Scotland, Andrew now has over fifteen years of experience of working in broadcasting. After graduating with an MA in French and Philosophy from The University of Glasgow, he began his career in commercial radio in Scotland and enjoyed a spell at Sky News before joining the BBC in 2000.

Originally a presenter of sports bulletins on 5 Live, as well as Radio 1, 2 and 4, Andrew  became one of the regular sports presenters on The BBC News Channel, while at the same time building a career as one of the brightest commentators on Golf and Rugby for BBC Radio. He has also commentated on The 6 Nations, The Ryder Cup, The US Masters, The Open, Wimbledon, The Olympics, The World Athletics Championships in Moscow, and The Boat Race....
